Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (U.S.) – 2–7 Business Days

All orders are processed within 2 business days.

If you choose Economy Shipping or qualify for Free Shipping on orders, we ship via USPS Ground:

  • West Coast: approx. 3 business days
  • East Coast: approx. 5–7 business days

If you choose Priority Shipping, we ship via USPS Priority:

  • West Coast: approx. 1–2 business days
  • East Coast: approx. 3–4 business days

Please note delivery timelines are estimated by USPS. Shipping times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or other factors beyond our control. Delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Orders are shipped Monday–Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

International Shipping – 2–3 Weeks

Estimated delivery times will appear at checkout based on your location.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.

Once shipped, you will receive a tracking email with shipment details.

Alter Ego Ink is not responsible for customs delays or international shipping disruptions.

Customs & Duties

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.

Alter Ego Ink cannot estimate these charges.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If an order is returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the package.

Alter Ego Ink is not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect address information provided at checkout.


Returns Policy

Due to hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or style preference.

Please review your order carefully before purchasing.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

To qualify for a replacement or refund:

  • Items must be unused
  • Items must be in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Photos of the issue must be provided

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days after inspection.

Tattoo Color Development Issues

Alter Ego Ink tattoos are plant-based and react with your skin's natural chemistry.

Because every person's skin is different, the final color intensity and development time may vary.

If your tattoo does not develop properly, please contact us at hi@alteregoink.com with clear photos, and our team will review your case.


Tattoo Disclaimer

Alter Ego Ink tattoos develop through a natural reaction with the skin.

Results may vary depending on:

  • Skin chemistry
  • Body temperature
  • Skin hydration
  • Tattoo placement

For best results:

  • Apply to clean, dry skin
  • Avoid lotions, oils, or makeup
  • Keep the tattoo dry for the first 8 hours
  • Allow up to 24 hours for full color development

Color variations are normal and not considered defects.

Skin Safety Disclaimer

Our tattoos are made with plant-based ingredients and are designed to be safe for most skin types.

However, individual skin sensitivity may vary.

We recommend performing a small patch test before full application, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
